Default overlay layout for landscape guest photos (all rooms). Per-room logos are set under Games → Room Configuration. Photos are composed in memory only and are not saved after emailing.

Admin inactivity timeout (minutes)

Admins and App Config editors are signed out after this long with no activity (default 120 = 2 hours).

Staff inactivity timeout (minutes)

Staff and other roles (default 720 = 12 hours). Game masters can stay signed in on multiple devices at once.

Escape room run history (days)

When you end a game, a run record (puzzle times and outcome) is kept for analytics. Records older than this are removed (default 180 days).

Trial walkthrough auto-end (hours)

Trial walkthroughs are not saved to Past runs. They are removed from memory at the end of the venue day (UK time) or after this many hours from start, whichever comes first (default 1 hour).

Live room game auto-end (hours)

Active non-trial sessions are auto-closed if left running this many hours from start (default 24). Use a higher value if games can legitimately run longer unattended.

Default room reset checklist

Booking close-out (Floor tab) is gated on completing the room's reset checklist. By default this is matched automatically by name — name the reset checklist the same as the room. This default is only used as a fallback when no name match is found.

Booking close-out window (days after end)

Open bookings stay on Run a session until staff close them out, up to this many days after the booking end time (default 14). After that, checked-in Pulse bookings are auto-marked abandoned. Claim-only bookings are not auto-closed.

Rejected pay request history (days)

Only rejected pay requests are removed from the store after this many days (default 90). Use 0 to keep those forever. Approved and pending requests are never removed by age (payroll and schedules).

Integrations and data tools

OffTheCouch booking sync, plus full backup and restore.

OffTheCouch integration

Pull bookings from OffTheCouch (GET + X-API-Key). Each run uses the venue timezone (EXTERNAL_BOOKING_TIMEZONE, default Europe/London) for today plus the window below for {from} / {to} in the URL, and for booking clock times. Successful JSON is parsed into schedule shifts: each item should include id (stable booking pk for updates), game_name (Pulse room id or room name), booking_date , start_time , and end_time (optional; default shift length applies if omitted). A top-level array or bookings / data / items is accepted.

Enable OffTheCouch integration (required for Sync now and Railway cron runs)

Manual Sync now runs immediately. For scheduled runs, call the cron endpoint from Railway Cron.

Booking slots URL template

Pulse sends GET with header X-API-Key .

Start date offset (days from today)

0 = today when the job runs; 1 = tomorrow; negative values go backward (e.g. include yesterday).

Days forward from start to end date

End date is the start date plus this many calendar days (e.g. offset 0 and 7 → {to} is one week after {from}).

Staff prep buffer before booking (minutes)

Subtracts from the API booking start when creating the shift (e.g. 15 → 9:00 becomes 8:45).

Staff wrap-up buffer after booking (minutes)

Adds after the API booking end (e.g. 15 → 10:00 becomes 10:15).
